WHO WE ARE

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization, with a network of 1.4 million men and women in more than 210 countries. Locally, Kentucky Lions have over 3,500 members statewide. Though well known for its successful initiatives in vision health, Lions service is as diverse as its members. We meet all sorts of needs, from assisting the elderly to helping victims of natural disasters.

Lions make a difference everyday- Whether its collecting goods for a local food pantry or building a wheelchair ramp for someone in need, we are a hands-on organization. Lions give 100% percent of donations to our global causes. We cover all costs through our dues. Programs such as Family Clubs, Leo Clubs, Campus Lions Clubs, and Virtual or Cyber  Clubs are helping us adapt to meet the growing needs of the world around us. Come attend the Membership Growth Retreat and New Voices Symposium to find out how you can grow your membership and have fun doing it through hands on service and humanitarian projects that are visible in your community.

Funding for the Membership Growth Retreat and New Voices Symposium was made possible by  LCIF Grants.

VENUE LOCATION

Lions Camp Crescendo

Lions Camp Crescendo was founded with the idea to offer camps to children from a variety of backgrounds at no cost. Camp Currently has four camps, each serving blind/visually impaired children, deaf/ hard of hearing children, children in foster care or court-appointed kinship care, or children affected by HIV/AIDS. Dedicated volunteers fully staff these camps for two weeks in the summer. Lions Camp Crescendo aims to provide more under served children the lifetime memories though a summer camp experience.

Our mission is the enhancement of the quality of life for youth, especially those with disabilities through the delivery of traditional camp experiences by caring individuals and to enable others to use our camping and retreat facilities to serve the larger communities humanitarian needs.
